Ronald McDonald House 7th October 2011
Moveable Feasts were proud to be involved with the Ronald McDonald Supper Club.
Our head chef Nigel Fenton Lee donated his time and Serina Bailey from the beautiful Hackthorne Gardens provided the stunning venue. A fantastic night for everyone involved and $34,500 was raised for the House.
Extraordinary Times & Extraordinary People
2011 Post February 22nd Earthquake Catering
We have recently completed catering for 600 - 700 USAR, NZ & Australian Police and Civil Defence personnel around the clock in Latimer Square Christchurch and would like to pass onto all our suppliers, donated goods suppliers and outstanding teams of volunteers - just how amazing they all are and their extraordinary efforts were applauded by all. With only 48hours notice ( and sometimes out of the ordinary requests from us) they stepped up and jumped at the opportunity to help. A BIG THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US.
If you are able to, please support these wonderful Canterbury businesses.

Just For A Wedding To Go Ahead
It was a day to remember for everyone in Canterbury 4th September 2010
It was to be the happiest day of Katherine Ewers & husband Davids life.......but it didn't start so well that morning.
Her church in Governors Bay was in ruins and her chosen venue closed with serious damage after the 7.1 earthquake.
Within 2 hours we had secured another venue & we ran the wedding from our state of art satellite kitchen and generator, the last 2 portaloos in Christchurch & of course heaps of romantic candles.

25th December 2010 Christmas Day With Moveable Feasts & The City Mission
This year instead of the City Mission only serving cold meats to their Christmas Day guests, we lent a hand and cooked up a storm with a delectable spread of roasted pork, beef, ham & chicken. A total feast.
